Luke Dolan, Uppercut Deluxe Barber Ambassador and owner of traditional barber shop chain ‘Luke’s Barbershop’ is a master of traditional barbering and one of the best-known names on the UK scene.

About Luke Dolan:
Luke started a hairdressing apprenticeship aged 17. Preferring the subtler environment of a barber shop, he took his skills over to barbering shortly after and hasn't looked back. Having worked in various barber shops throughout North London Luke opened his own barber shop in April 2013. Having given a lot of thought to the design of the shop, and whether it should appeal to traditional or current trends, Luke made the decision to follow his own style, reflecting his personality, "shabby and worn like me!"

Luke now owns three shops, two of these based in London (Oxhey and Ruislip). More recently, Luke opened his newest Luke’s Barbershop in Moscow in May 2019. If you’re in Russia, don’t hesitate to pop-in and get cut!

Education has become a primary part of Luke’s ever-growing skills set. Establishing himself as one of Uppercut Deluxe’s premier global educator, he has held seminars, workshops and barbering shows in Sweden, Chile, Poland and Russia, just to name a few!

Signature style:
Luke loves more traditional cuts and his favourite would be a ‘crisp, clean pomp’. Unafraid to step outside of his own comfort zone, Luke still finds time to challenge himself and ensure that customer service remains integral to his philosophy. “Consultation is more important now than ever, it’s really important to find out exactly what the customer is looking for.”

Luke began solely using Uppercut Deluxe products shortly after opening his own barber shop quite some time ago. He’s now been cutting hair for 21 years and is very much part of the Uppercut Deluxe family.

Luke began solely using Uppercut Deluxe products shortly after opening his own barber shop having found that the alternatives didn’t measure up. Luke recognised Uppercut Deluxe as a global brand and loved the branding. He had often been recommended the products by other barbers and so set about making sure he had it in his shop. Luke’s an expert in cocktailing products, manipulating and experimenting with each product to achieve a unique end result.
